Fanonlords Wiki:Privacy Policy

The Fanonlords Wiki Privacy Policy is to insure the safety of our members. Violations of this Policy will result in warnings and/or blocks.

REGISTERING IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 IS AGAINST WIKIA'S TERMS OF USE AND COPPA - THIS MAY LEAD TO YOUR WIKIA ACCOUNT BEING TERMINATED.

The Privacy Policy requires you to follow a few simple rules, and these are:

• Do not reveal your full name. Only your first name is acceptable.
• No matter what, DO NOT reveal your address!
• Do not reveal your phone number and/or cellular number.
• Do not upload images of yourself or any other people, including avatars. Any such pictures will be deleted. (This rule does not affect Wikia Staff/VSTF/Helpers, as they clearly have reasons to do this.)
• Do not reveal your credit card number or banking information.
• Do not reveal any other information that you would not want everyone to know about.
• Do not ask anyone for personal information.

Remember

These rules are not here to hinder you, they are here for your own safety, and are good to follow on any website of the Internet.

Breaking the rules

Most of the time, we will have the information removed from the history of pages by staff. Sometimes, these can even lead to blocks to show that these are not good choices to make.

Any attempt at trying to find out personal information about another user without their permission will lead to a warning, and if continued a block. This can include excessively asking them, and if a user feels uncomfortable about another user, he/she should contact an Admin immediately. 

Why should I follow the policy on the ENTIRE Internet!?!

Not everyone out there is a nice person. Anyone could use the information to harm you, and this policy is to keep you safe. At Fanonlords Wiki, we try to make your time here the best it can possibly be, and the last thing we want to see happen is someone getting harmed. Thank you for understanding. If you still don't understand, ask an Administrator. They will explain further.

Tracing

Attempting to trace or find out personal information of another user is against the rules. If you are discovered to have traced or to have attempted to trace someone, you will automatically be blocked for 2 weeks.
