Dark Bakugan is a collective term used for the type of Bakugan that was created by the Order of Dragons and distributed to the Salamanders, and most notably, the Bulldogs.

Mashor is a Darkus Bakugan and the former Guardian Bakugan of Marcus, who had been given the Dark Bakugan by the Order of Dragons.
Appearance[]
Mashor is a hybrid of an ogre and a gorilla, with extremely muscular arms and a hulking upper body. Mashor is also armed with black wrist guards and ankle guards.

- Shadow Battery - Mashor's fist is covered in shadows as Mashor charges at the opponent.
- Barbarian Armor - Mashor covers himself in sturdy, black, barbarian-like armor.
- Dark Suffocation - Mashor spews black gunk from its mouth that rushes towards the opponent.

Slashor is a Pyrus Bakugan and the former Guardian Bakugan of Vince, who had been given the Dark Bakugan by the Order of Dragons.

Slashor is a scrawny ogre covered in red armor, armed with two wrist-mounted blades.

- Death Butcher - Slashor runs at the opponent and slashes them with its blades.
- Flame Cutter - Slashor's blades catch on fire as Slashor goes to slash the opponent.
History[]
Bakugan R-Evolutions[]
At an unspecified time in between Advanced and Cruelty, the three lower-ranked Bulldogs acquired Mashor, Bashor, and Slashor from the Order of Dragons in order to begin their conquest of Neo Bakugan City.
The Dark Bakugan debuted in Cruelty, where Mashor easily took down Gatlug inside the Doghouse. Mashor, Bashor, and Slashor later fought against Unithunder, Ramdol, and Ziperator, respectively, during the assault on the Doghouse. Bashor and Slashor quickly beat their opponents, but were soon faced with Drillex and Vaporoid, respectively.
In Encounter, Mashor was defeated by Unithunder's Strike Point Delta, Bashor was defeated by Drillex's Heavy Mineral Ball, and Slashor was defeated by Vaporoid's Ocean's Blue. Following the losses, all three of the Dark Bakugan left their owners and flew off into the distance, towards an unknown location.
